Language Focus 3: Pronunciation 2
As outlined in the Standards of English for Technicians in the Automotive Industry (Resource 2) professionals should be able to ‘read aloud specific automotive vocabulary and formulaic expressions with acceptable pronunciation and intonation’.
Listen to the vocabulary (studied in 9.3) and practice the pronunciation by repeating the words. Try to make note of where the stress occurs in the words.
