Broken or fractured bones and limbs, and problems with internal organs, often need treatment in hospitals, and the treatment and recovery can take a long time. But there are several common ailments that those in the medical profession are often consulted about. These ailments can be recurring problems that can be solved through a course of medication, or they might be permanent conditions that need regular daily medication. These are, for example; arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, depression, diabetes, gallstones, gout, hemorrhoids, hernia, kidney stones, lymphedema, psoriasis, tooth decay, and ulcers to name but a few. There are more specific ailments concerning the various parts of the body: the skin, sex organs, ears, eyes, etc., and also those linked with age: Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s. Common problems such as headaches, stomachaches, sore throats, colds, and influenza (flu) don’t usually require consulting medical professionals. We will look at some of the recurring problems here.
