As with the parts of the human body, the human heart is made up of parts with some long and complicated names. For those medical professionals whose specialty does not concern the heart, knowing and practicing these terms is not really necessary. However, for those dealing with the heart and interested in furthering their knowledge and pronunciation practice we will look at some of the vocabulary dealt with in this section.
Listen to the vocabulary (studied in 7.2) and practice the pronunciation by repeating the words. Try to make note of where the stress occurs in the words.
