What should a teacher do when the following situations happen in the classroom?
1. If a student is disruptive during class.
2. If a student turns in a late homework assignment.
3. If the students in class preparation do not put in effort to do the project.
Possible answers:
- Assign him/her to detention without further discussion.
Isolate or remove the student. Ask him to go out for a while till he understands then he can come in.
- Accept the assignment, but talk to him about it.
If rules are set about not accepting excuses from tardy/lazy students: Do not accept the assignment.
- Do not reprimand because it might hurt his/her feelings, but encourage and show good examples and let them do it again.
