1. Due to an expansion of the low-cost flight business, more travelers are coming as new visitors to the Asian region.  Also, there are a number of Asian tourist attractions which are recognized as world-best tourist destinations.
2. Many groups of Asian tourists such as Chinese and Muslims are coming as new visitors to the Asian region.  Accordingly, they bring a lot of income for the tourism industries as well as new cultural implications to the region.
3. Since the Asian environment is quite different from western countries, some tips for safety in tourism for western tourists are essential.

After studying this module, the students should be able to

1. explain the general views of the tourism situation in Asian countries.
2. identify each tourist attraction in each Asian country.
3. identify the cultural distinction among some Asian tourists.
4. give some tips for staying safe in the Asian tour for westerners.
